Dr. Raj Kumar Suri, MBBS, DHHM (AHA-New Delhi) is a registered medical practitioner in the state of Jammu & Kashmir (Regd. No. 3778). Dr. Raj Kumar Suri is a renowned Lithotripsy Specialist in Jammu having treated more than 10000 patients in his career thus far.

Humble contributions to the Profession have traversed the following course:

  • Registrar in the Department of radio-therapy Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (1989-1990).
  • Started a Multi -Super Specialty Nursing Home in August 1991 at Jammu - Presently too a Director at the Nursing Home.
  • Spear Heading the Jammu Stone Clinic- presently too a Director there and hold the distinction of initiating the Lithotripsy - ESWL I ISWL and Endo - Urological procedures in the State of Jammu & Kashmir in 1997.
  • Introduced for the First Time in the state of Jammu & Kashmir all kinds of Laparoscopic procedures including Lap-Gynaec procedures in 1998.
  • Established in 1998 the First Stone Clinic in Himachal Pradesh - Himachal Stone Clinic & Endourological Center at Palampur - the only Private Center on the Panel of the Himachal State Government catering to the needs of the State Government Employees and their families.
  • The Private Diagnostic and CT Scan Centre at Jammu in year 2000.
  • First Private MRI Center in Jammu - in year 2004.
  • Chairman and Founder Trustee of the First Private Dental College in the state of Jammu & Kashmir - " Institute of Dental Sciences" - Recognized by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India with an intake of 100 seats. 11th batch admitted.

Having Distinctions of:

  • First Nursing Home to be empanelled by ECHS in the State of Jammu & Kashmir since 2005 on merit. In this Nursing Home almost 15000 ESM's (Ex-Servicemen) have been treated upon since its empanelment.
  • Selected for the "Rashtriya Gaurav Medal" in year 2010 at New Delhi.
  • Participated in Nationals and won Silver Medal in Backward speed Skating in year 1977-78.
  • Declared Top Sportsman of the State for the session 1977-78 by the Sports Council of J&K.
  • Recipient of best doctor of the year 2019 by General Bipin Rawat (Chief of Army) at six sigma healthcare leadership summit delhi.
